You’re acting ability only counts for about one fifth of your acting career. There is a level of good enough acting that you need to reach in order to be bookable. Once you are past that point, it has a lot more to do with whether or not you’re working the business side of ‘show business.’ You must understand everything else that you need to be doing to make your acting career happen besides just good acting.
